This privacy policy applies to all websites that belong to MisRolas, Inc. (Misrolas), and to all services and downloads provided on these sites. The policy only applies to transactions
and information collected by way of Misrolas.com’s services, including music downloads via cellular telephones and other mobile devices, and does not apply to MisRolas.com’s
offline activities. Upon using Misrolas’ services, including music downloads, you agree to accept the terms of this privacy policy.
Non-Personal and Aggregate Information
Among the aggregate information we collect are included the type of web browser you use, your age, gender, IP address, the content you access and the time spent while using
Misrolas’ services. Misrolas typically uses this information for statistical purposes, in order to improve our services, analyze user interest in specific services, and to monitor content
and advertising traffic on behalf of our sponsors and business partners. We reserve the right to reveal demographic information to our associates about trends in the usage of our
services. An example of this would be sales trends based on user zip codes, country or age. We also keep records on the most popular content. We use this information to generate
reports for our content providers in order that they may analyze Misrolas’ usage trends.
Personal Information
In certain instances we will ask you for personal information in order to use Misrolas’ services, and to obtain technical support. This information might include your name, address,
telephone number, cellular phone number, credit card number and/or email address. If you do not wish to provide us with this information, you will not be able to use certain of
Misrolas’ services.
Discretional Use of Information
Misrolas does not sell any personal information such as your name or email address to third parties. Misrolas uses your personal information to:
- Allow access to Digital Downloads;
- Send you information regarding your account, updates to our services and special offers, whether our own or from our associates and only if you have requested to receive this
information. You may be removed from our mailing list at any time by sending an email to: support@misrolas.com;
- To administer your account, provide you with technical support and keep records of your use of Misrolas’ services.
Misrolas makes your personal information available to third parties in order to resolve and correct problems with our services (including technical support, billing questions and credit
card refunds) and in order to improve your experience using our services. Misrolas also provides personal information to our content providers, agents, representatives and service
providers involved in providing our services. Upon using Misrolas’ services, including music downloads, you give us permission to share your personal information with third parties in
connection with the providing of our services and with our content providers.
Due to our contractual obligations with third parties and our need to provide personal information in order to make our services available and administer them, we cannot permit you to
deny us the ability to make your personal information available to our associates. Your personal information will be made available to our associates in the event that Misrolas
declares bankruptcy or stock shares are transferred to a third party. Misrolas will also make your personal information available in order to comply with the law, or court order; protect
or defend the rights or property of Misrolas; and/or the protection of the personal safety of users or members of the public.
Cookies
Cookies are small packets of information which are stored on your hard drive. Misrolas’ services utilize cookies and IP addresses for certain functions. Cookies allow you to store
your password and other information without having to constantly enter it when prompted. Cookies also allow Misrolas and our advertisers to monitor usage of our services and the
advertising on our site. Some of the advertisers on Misrolas may also utilize cookies in order to compile information regarding their advertisements on our site. The majority of web
browsers allow the user to accept or decline cookies, although the default setting is usually to accept them. If you choose not to accept cookies you will be limited in the services which
you can use on our site.
Other Web Sites and Services
Misrolas does not accept responsibility for the privacy policies of third party websites to which we send traffic. If you make your information available to these associates, you might
be subject to rules regarding the collection and distribution of your personal information which differ from those of Misrolas. We recommend that you review these sites’ individual
privacy policies before you provide them with your information.
Security of your Personal Information
Misrolas will take all the necessary steps in order to insure the privacy and security of your personal information. We utilize numerous technologies, including various types of
hardware and software, designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
Misrolas does not collect information from users under the age of 13. Misrolas requests that users under the age of 13 not use our services or provide personal information. If we
become aware that any such information has been collected or distributed to third parties, this information will immediately be eliminated from our database.
Contests and Promotions
If you elect to participate in promotions or contests sponsored by Misrolas or any of our associates, you will be asked to provide your name, address and email address. You will also
be asked for additional information in order to answer certain questions, some of which will be optional. We will contact you regarding specific promotions in order to update your
status and provide you with information regarding those promotions and contests.
These promotions and contests may be wholly sponsored by Misrolas, co-sponsored by Misrolas and one of our associates, or wholly sponsored by another company. Some of the
information collected for your participation in such promotions and contests may be provided to their sponsors. Misrolas utilizes third party advertising agencies in conjunction with
some of our promotional email campaigns. In some cases we might provide information on our website’s visitors who have participated in promotions to these agencies. This is
done in order to have access to information for future advertising campaigns and to keep our statistics up to date. In order to do this Misrolas and the advertising agencies we employ
might keep track of the pages you visit within our site by way of pixel tags.
Our Commitment to Maintaining your Personal Privacy
Misrolas takes special care in order to comply with this privacy policy, and will take corrective action whenever a failure in compliance is detected. In some instances Misrolas makes
beta versions of our products and services available while still under development. Since these beta versions are still undergoing testing, we might not always be able to detect and
correct failures in compliance with our privacy policy in relation to them, in spite of our best efforts. We invite you to send us your comments regarding our privacy policy; because of
the nature of our business and the constant changes in technology we face, Misrolas does not guarantee the absence of error in the application of this privacy policy.
